DEMO Version
|
A single plug-in for use with Photoshop-compatible host applications. It takes an alternative approach to colour-modification effects by generating random combinations of many hidden variables to produce unusual and unpredictable results. This is not aimed at users who require precise editing features due to the random nature of the filter, but for those who enjoy using experimental techniques in their work then it can prove a very handy tool. The controls may seem a bit confusing to begin with so it may take a while for you to get the hang of Alienator ... but that's half the fun! You can randomize the settings automatically using the animate feature, or manually with the various single-click buttons if you prefer. There is also a "Tweak" mode which allows you to modify some of the more basic editing sliders manually for greater overall control over the final effect. Landscapes : Explore strange new worlds
Portraits : Artistic styles for illustration work
Wildlife : Alienize natural creatures!

System Requirements PC : Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP, plus any host graphics application that supports the Photoshop *.8bf format plug-in standard. Mac : This filter is for Windows only. Sorry, there is no Mac version available at the moment. Please note that not all graphics programs are 100% compatible with plug-ins. Consult your program's documentation for more information regarding the installation and use of 3rd-party filters, thank you. Installation Download the zip file,
uncompress all the files to your chosen
"Plugins" folder, configure your host to look in that folder (if
necessary), then restart your graphics app and the new effects should
appear somewhere in the filter menu. This is the basic procedure for
installing plug-ins. However, some hosts have slight variations so for
more details please read the documentation that came with your graphics
program. |
