Most software developers will know the importance of beta-testing their products before releasing them to the general public. This is done to ensure there are no obvious bugs or mistakes in the program or documentation. It also enables the software to be tested under many different system setups, which wouldn't otherwise be possible for the author to fully explore by themselves. Beta-testers provide vital feedback about programs and help future development. Want To Become A Beta-Tester? : If you enjoy experimenting with new products and have some time to spare, then please feel free to contact me and ask to join my official beta list. I will notify you whenever there is something new to test out and provide you with direct download links that won't be available to the general public. Anyone can apply but I am particularly interested in users who have knowledge of the following ... Plug-In Filters : Graphics users who work with Photoshop, PSP or similar packages Please be aware that beta-releases are "work-in-progress" and may contain bugs or missing features, so don't expect everything to be perfect! While every care is taken to ensure the stability of the products, no warranty is given on their use. You must agree to install and test any software at your own risk. Please only do so if you are confident and experienced with this kind of work, thanks! Why Become A Tester? : If you are like me, you will be addicted to all kinds of creative software and enjoy trying out all the latest releases! So by joining the beta-team you will gain access to new products before anyone else, plus additional items that may not ever be released to the general public. If you help with the development of any of my commercial products then you will also qualify for free copy of that title. Current Products In Beta-Testing : A while ago I made a start on a very simple freeware paint program and released an early 0.1 beta for testing. But since then I haven't found time to work any more on the project so it's currently "on-hold". I will let you know when testing resumes though. Here is a brief overview and small screenshot of work-in-progress ...
Junior
Airbrush :
I know the world doesn't need yet another paint package, but this
is just my own little variation on the theme! It's very basic and
only aimed at quick "doodling" You can draw using a round
or square nozzle shape (plus vary the size and opacity) and choose
colours quickly from the wheel. That's about all really. Nothing
fancy, just a bit of fun! |
