You will find many of the same items listed on the most popular sites, so how do you choose which one to use? Well, I guess it's down to personal preferance at the end of the day. Try out a few different sites and pick the one(s) that you find easiest to navigate and use. Of course you may also find that some sites are more focussed on certain themes, so may carry a wider selection of listings on specific subjects. Or you may find that you enjoy using several different sites to gather all the downloads that you need. Remember that you don't need to limit yourself to just one site! Anyway, I have compiled a list here of some of the freeware and shareware download sites that I've used myself over the years. Hope that you find some of them useful. Enjoy! Note To Software Developers These links are not only handy for end-users. If you create your own software then it's worth submitting your demo links and details on these sites to gain more exposure for your work.. Many of these sites now support the PAD format, making it faster and easier to submit and maintain your product release details. You can create your own PAD files (*.xml) using the excellent freeware PADGen software. For
